REFERRAL NETWORK

 

Atlanta GLOW has established strong connections and a referral network with local social service agencies who provide wraparound services including, but not limited to, housing, healthcare, high-quality childcare, transportation, substance abuse treatment, legal aid, emergency assistance, access to safety-net benefits, afterschool programs, individual and group counseling, homelessness prevention, anger management and workforce development. 

 

Our referral service makes sure economically challenged young women, girls and their families have access to quality wraparound services by connecting them with local agencies and organizations that address some of their core needs, from housing and healthcare, to legal assistance and substance abuse treatment. By making holistic connections, we ensure each young woman has everything she needs to go after her dreams and succeed.

At Atlanta GLOW, we develop key partnerships with other agencies and are on an ongoing search for affordable and trusted services in efforts to provide quality referrals to both current and prospective participants of our programs. We work discreetly with our mentors and participants to identify their needs and match them with organizations that can help meet any critical needs that fall outside of our areas of expertise.

 

Our Family Engagement Specialist serves as a single point of contact for families who to help them identify the resources and opportunities available to them and make explicit plans for their future. Our specialist has the social work training, credentials and first-hand knowledge of available programs and services and can help navigate them alongside individuals and families.
